  1. When it comes to website design, one of the most important elements that designers consider is “the fold,” which is the line that separates the part of your homepage that is visible without scrolling, whether on mobile or on desktop. The goal is to get as many of your website’s most important elements above the fold as possible, such as your description, CTAs, menu, contact information, and so on. If you want visitors to convert, you must make the process as simple as possible for them.
  2. The first thing you should include on your homepage is a concise and easy-to-understand description of your company. Visitors should be able to understand exactly what your company is and what products or services you offer in just 3 seconds. Begin with a few-word headline that summarizes your business and add a few sentences describing your offerings and how they are used.
  3. Make a menu that is simple to navigate. Limit it to 5-6 options, and if you must include more, try to nestle them inside others to minimize clutter.
  4. It’s critical to have well-planned CTAs above the fold. They should also be present as you scroll down the page. CTAs should direct visitors to your most important pages, such as product or service offerings, pricing pages, FAQs etc. Visitors should be able to get to the important stuff quickly and easily. In addition, the text in your CTAs should be concise and actionable. Verbs that are simple and easy to read are the best choice for your CTA text.
  5. A “lead magnet” is an incredibly useful tool for driving conversions for businesses with a longer path to purchase. This is a piece of free, typically downloadable content that is both relevant to your offerings and valuable to potential leads. In exchange for downloading the file, customers may be asked to provide contact information. They receive useful information, and you receive a new, pre-qualified lead. Consider common issues or concerns that drive customers to your site when creating your lead magnet.
  6. It is important to provide a direct line of communication for potential leads. Leads who have questions but are unable to reach you will most likely seek a solution elsewhere. By making it easy for customers to contact you, you’ll be able to quickly answer any questions and move your leads down the conversion path.
