Why should you have an FAQ page on your website?

First off, why bother?

Answering frequently asked questions (FAQ) on your website can actively inform visitors about your products, services, as well as relevant topics of interest. Even if they didn’t think to ask the questions, they can learn from the responses- which can pique their interest in what you have to offer and encourage them to purchase your product or service.

So here’s how to do it (and do it well.)

A well-written FAQ page will include questions that are relevant to the terms that people use to search on Google. The answers you publish should also contain relevant keywords and phrases in order to target people who are interested in what you have to offer. This is how FAQ pages can be used to harness SEO and increase your site visibility.

Each FAQ page should be simple to navigate so that visitors can quickly get the information they need. Consider which questions will be most beneficial to your clients to have addressed. Avoid unnecessary details in your answers and keep them short and sweet. You can address specific issues in further depth on other pages of your site and link to those pages from short responses on your FAQ pages.

Finally, ensure that all of the information on your FAQ page is correct and up-to-date. You’ll want to make sure to provide users with the option of contacting you if they have a question that is not answered on your website.
